Outstanding Print Quality

  • LX900 incorporates the most advanced inkjet technology ever offered in a desktop label printer. Called Primera Imaging Perfection™, this all-new printing technology delivers razor-sharp text, graphics and the most photo-realistic printing possible. Color droplet size is just 4 pL and black is 5.5 pL – the smallest available on an industrial-grade colour label printer. Print resolution is up to 4800 dpi versus just 1200 dpi on other printers.

Economical to Operate and Maintain

  • LX900 has individual ink tanks for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. To install your drivers for printers with parallel/serial port or network interface:

  1. Make sure you are logged in as the user with permissions to install the printer driver to Windows system.
  2. Download the driver installatio for your printer brand.
  3. Run the downloaded zip file. The printer installation files extract to folder C:NiceLabel Printer Drivers. If this folder does not exist, the installation creates it. You can delete it after the installation.
  4. The Printer Installation Wizard (PRNINST.EXE) starts automatically. Follow on-screen instructions. In one of the steps, you can select the port, where you connect your printer.
    NOTE: You can close the Printer Installation Wizard and run Add Printer Wizard from your Windows (Printers & scanners section) to install the NiceDriver for your thermal printer. But we strongly recommend that you use included Printer Installation Wizard to install NiceLabel drivers.

To install the driver for printer to USB port:

  1. Start USB printer installation without your printer connected to your computer.
  2. Connect and turn on your USB printer when the installation wizard prompts you.
    When installing a USB printer, PrnInst automatically detects the connected printer using its Plug and Play ID.
  3. PrnInst will take you to the final stage of printer driver installation process. Printer option window appears.
    If the printer driver for the connected printer is already installed, PrnInst offers you to update it. Click Next to proceed to printer driver update.
    If a driver does not recognize the printer Plug and Play ID, the Select Printer window appears
  4. Click Next after selecting your printer model. PrnInst will take you to the final stage of printer driver installation process. Printer option window opens.

You can also pre-install NiceLabel Printer Drivers to your computer, so Windows finds drivers automatically.

To preinstall drivers, do the following:

  1. Download the driver installation for your printer brand name.
  2. Place the downloaded self-extractable file in a temporary directory and run it to start the setup procedure. The printer installation files extract to folder C:NiceLabel Printer Drivers. If this folder does not exist, the installation creates it. You can delete it after the installation.
  3. The Printer Installation Wizard (PRNINST.EXE) starts automatically. Cancel the installation.
  4. Run the PRNINST with the command-line parameter to preinstall drivers on the current machine:
    PRNINST.EXE /PREINSTALL=c:NiceLabel Printer Drivers<printer_brand><printer_brand>.inf
  5. You can use the same extracted files to pre-install drivers on other machines.
